Piece of perspex, flat tray or a heavy plastic that can have paint rolled on to it, for mono-printing

Small foam/sponge roller

Personal or library books that have images/details that you like

FELT

Merino Wool Tops

A bag of ‘bits and pieces’ - knitting yarn, embroidery thread, silk throwster’s waste, open weave natural fabric scraps or scarves (silk, cotton, muslin.)  These will be trapped with the wool fibre, giving the piece added texture

Yarns for fringing, if desired

Old towels to soak up water

Bubble wrap 50% bigger than the width and length of desired finished piece

A piece of nylon or polyester voile curtains or similar (eg. mosquito net) for covering wool and bits during the wetting process, same size as the bubble wrap (Op shop)

Bottle similar to ‘Softly’ - will need to drill small holes into the cap

Dishwashing detergent or olive oil soap

Small plastic bag (supermarket fruit and vegie bag)

Painters thin clear ‘Plastic Drop Sheet’ (Bunnings)

Strips of cloth to secure the rolled bubble wrap during felting

Optional: swimming pool noodle
